Bengal Scholarship Board" is a non-political, non-governmental organization providing scholarships to meritorious students in the state of West Bengal, India. Through this organization, scholarships are awarded to the students of classes V to X of the schools under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education by taking the scholarship examination every year. In each district of West Bengal, there is a district wise "District Scholarship Board" under the "Bengal Scholarship Board". Appointing the convenors by this District Scholarship Board, the students of each upper primary school in the district are invited to take part in the examination.
